Terms & Conditions – INDIREPAIR PRIVATE LIMITED

Effective Date: 1st September 2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the provision of laptop repair, replacement, upgrade, diagnostic, testing, pickup and delivery services (“Services”) by Indirepair Private Limited (“IndiRepair”, “Company”, “we”, “us” or “our”) to any customer (“Customer”, “you” or “your”).

By requesting, approving or availing any Service from IndiRepair, including by telephone, WhatsApp, email, website or any other communication channel, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms.

1. SCOPE OF SERVICES

1.1 IndiRepair provides repair, replacement, upgrade, maintenance, diagnostic and testing services in relation to laptops, as requested by the Customer and accepted by IndiRepair.

1.2 The scope and cost of the Service shall be determined after inspection and/or diagnosis of the laptop and communicated to the Customer before the repair is undertaken.

1.3 Acceptance of a laptop for inspection or diagnosis does not constitute confirmation that the requested Service can be completed.

1.4 IndiRepair reserves the right to decline a Service where, in its reasonable assessment, the laptop is beyond practical or economical repair, the required parts are unavailable, the repair involves unreasonable technical risks, or the Service cannot otherwise be undertaken.

2. REQUEST FOR SERVICE AND INITIAL QUOTATION

2.1 A Customer may contact IndiRepair through its website, telephone, WhatsApp or other available communication channels to request a Service.

2.2 Based on the information provided by the Customer, including the laptop model, reported issue and other relevant details, IndiRepair may provide an initial quotation setting out the estimated charges for the proposed Service.

2.3 The initial quotation is prepared on the basis of the information available to IndiRepair at that stage and is not necessarily a final quotation.

2.4 The quotation may be revised after the laptop is physically received and inspected. If inspection reveals additional damage, a different technical issue, additional parts or additional work required to complete the Service, IndiRepair may provide a revised quotation.

2.5 IndiRepair shall seek the Customer’s approval before undertaking any additional repair or work that results in an additional charge beyond the approved quotation.

2.6 Customer approval may be obtained through WhatsApp, email, telephone or any other communication method accepted by IndiRepair.

2.7 Where the Customer does not approve the revised quotation or decides not to proceed with the repair, IndiRepair shall return the device subject to the customer upon payment of a fixed charge of ₹350.

3. PICKUP, DELIVERY AND HANDOVER OF DEVICE

3.1 Upon approval of the applicable quotation, the Customer shall provide the required pickup details and make the laptop available for collection. By providing the pickup details, the Customer confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

3.2 Pickup and delivery may be arranged through IndiRepair’s third-party logistics partner i.e., Ease Your Life; IndiRepair shall coordinate with the logistics partner to facilitate the pickup and delivery of the device.

3.3 The Customer shall provide accurate pickup and delivery details and remain available to receive the device. Any additional cost or delay arising from an incorrect address, failed delivery attempt or other Customer-related reason shall be borne by the Customer.

3.4 The Customer shall remove all personal belongings and any accessories or items not required for the Service before handing over the laptop. Any accessories or other items handed over with the laptop shall be at the Customer’s risk unless specifically included in the Service.

3.5 The Customer should inform IndiRepair of any known physical damage, liquid damage, previous repair, modification or other material defect before or at the time of handing over the device.

3.6 Delivery timelines may therefore be affected by circumstances beyond IndiRepair’s reasonable control.

3.7 The Customer shall promptly notify IndiRepair of any visible damage to the device or other issue noticed at the time of delivery.

4. INSPECTION AND CONDITION OF DEVICE

4.1 Upon receipt, the laptop may be physically inspected for the purpose of identifying the reported issue, additional defects, physical condition and the feasibility of the requested Service.

4.2 IndiRepair may photograph or otherwise record visible physical damage or the condition of the device before commencing the repair.

4.3 Any pre-existing, unrelated or additional defect or malfunction identified during inspection or in the course of the Service shall not form part of the approved Service unless separately agreed with the Customer.

4.4 IndiRepair shall not be responsible for any defect, malfunction or damage that was not part of the approved scope of work.

5. REPAIR AUTHORISATION

5.1 Repair or replacement work shall generally be undertaken after the Customer has approved the applicable quotation.

5.2 Where additional work is identified after inspection, IndiRepair may communicate the additional requirement and applicable charges to the Customer and seek separate approval.

5.3 Where the Customer declines the proposed repair after inspection, the device shall be returned subject to the applicable charges specified under these Terms.

6. REPLACEMENT PARTS

6.1 IndiRepair may use genuine/manufacturer-supplied, OEM, refurbished or compatible replacement parts, depending on the nature of the repair, availability and technical requirements.

6.2 Where a non-original or refurbished part is proposed to be used, IndiRepair shall inform the Customer before installation, wherever applicable.

6.3 The availability and suitability of replacement parts may vary depending on the laptop model, manufacturer and market availability.

6.4 IndiRepair shall not be obligated to provide or disclose any vendor invoice, purchase invoice or other documentation relating to the procurement of any spare part to the Customer, including for the purpose of verifying the authenticity, source or actual cost of such spare part.

6.5 IndiRepair does not accept customer-supplied spare parts for installation.

7. SPECIAL-ORDER PARTS

7.1 Where a repair requires a part to be specially sourced or ordered for the Customer’s laptop, IndiRepair shall inform the Customer of the applicable cost and estimated procurement timeline, where available, and obtain the Customer’s approval before placing the order.

7.2 Once a special-order part has been ordered specifically for the Customer’s laptop, any cancellation or withdrawal of the Service shall be subject to the Customer bearing the actual non-refundable or non-recoverable costs incurred by IndiRepair in relation to such part.

8. REPAIR TIMELINES AND DELAYS

8.1 IndiRepair shall endeavour to complete the Service within the estimated timeline communicated to the Customer. Any such timeline is indicative and may change depending on the nature of the repair, availability of parts, additional work identified during inspection, logistics or other circumstances beyond IndiRepair’s reasonable control.

8.2 Where additional work is approved by the Customer or a required part is delayed or unavailable, the estimated completion timeline may be revised accordingly.

8.3 A delay in completion within a reasonable period, for reasons beyond IndiRepair’s reasonable control, shall not by itself constitute a defect in the Service or entitle the Customer to a refund.

9. TESTING AFTER REPAIR

9.1 Following completion of the Service, IndiRepair shall carry out reasonable testing of the repaired or replaced component to verify the Service performed.

9.2 Such testing shall be limited to the scope of the Service undertaken and shall not constitute a guarantee that other components, features or functions of the laptop are free from defects or malfunction.

10. CUSTOMER ACCEPTANCE AND DELIVERY

10.1 Upon completion of the Service and applicable testing, the laptop shall be made available for delivery or collection by the Customer.

10.2 The Customer shall inspect the laptop and verify the functioning of the repaired or replaced component upon receipt.

10.3 Any complaint relating to the repaired or replaced component must be raised within 72 hours of delivery, in accordance with the applicable complaint procedure under these Terms.

11. 72-HOUR INSPECTION AND COMPLAINT PERIOD

11.1 The Customer shall have 72 hours from the time of delivery of the laptop to notify IndiRepair of any issue relating to the repair or replacement Service.

11.2 The 72-hour period is intended to allow the Customer to identify and report issues relating to the particular Service performed.

11.3 The mere occurrence of an issue within 72 hours does not automatically mean that the issue is covered by this complaint period.

11.4 For example, where IndiRepair has replaced a laptop battery and an unrelated display issue, such as screen flickering, subsequently occurs, such unrelated issue shall not be treated as a defect in the battery replacement merely because it occurred within 72 hours.

11.5 Upon receipt of a complaint, IndiRepair may initially attempt to troubleshoot the issue remotely through available methods.

11.6 If the issue cannot reasonably be resolved remotely, IndiRepair may arrange for the device to be picked up for further inspection.

11.7 Following inspection, IndiRepair shall determine whether the reported issue is attributable to the Service performed, a covered warranty issue, a pre-existing issue, an unrelated component or another cause.

12. WARRANTY

12.1 Where applicable, IndiRepair shall provide a warranty for the repair or replacement Service for the period specified in the quotation, invoice. The warranty period shall commence from the date of delivery of the device to the Customer.

12.2 The warranty shall apply only to the repaired or replaced component and shall be subject to the applicable warranty terms. It shall not cover physical or liquid damage, misuse, accidental damage, unauthorised repair or modification, or normal wear and tear.

12.3 Where a warranty claim is accepted, IndiRepair may, at its discretion, repair or replace the affected component. No cash refund shall be provided solely on account of a warranty claim.

13. WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

13.1 The warranty shall not apply to any defect, damage or malfunction arising from:

  • Physical, accidental, liquid or moisture damage;

  • Misuse, improper handling or use contrary to manufacturer recommendations;

  • Unauthorised opening, repair, modification or alteration of the laptop;

  • Third-party parts, repairs or attempted repairs;

  • Electrical, power-related or voltage-related issues;

  • Software, operating system, virus, malware or configuration-related issues;

  • Normal wear and tear;

  • Pre-existing, unrelated or subsequently arising defects or damage; or

  • Any damage to a component not covered under the original Service.

13.2 The warranty shall not apply where, after completion of the Service, the laptop or the repaired/replaced component is opened, modified, repaired or otherwise tampered with by the Customer or any third party.

14. SOFTWARE, SETTINGS AND THIRD-PARTY SOFTWARE

14.1 IndiRepair’s Services primarily relate to hardware repair, replacement and related technical Services. Unless specifically included in the approved Service, IndiRepair shall not be responsible for issues arising from the operating system, drivers, applications, user settings, viruses, malware or third-party software.

14.2 Any software-related issue identified during or after the Service shall be treated separately from the hardware repair unless expressly included in the approved scope of work.

15. DATA, BACKUP AND PRIVACY

15.1 The Customer shall maintain an adequate backup of all data stored on the laptop before handing it over to IndiRepair. IndiRepair shall not be responsible for any loss, corruption or inaccessibility of data arising during or in connection with the Service, except to the extent such liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

15.2 IndiRepair does not undertake data backup or recovery as part of its standard Services. Where data backup is requested by the Customer, IndiRepair may charge an additional fee, which will be communicated before the backup is carried out. IndiRepair shall not guarantee successful recovery or preservation of all data.

15.3 The Customer shall create a secondary user account for IndiRepair to access the laptop for diagnosis and servicing, using “indirepair” as the username and password. If a secondary account cannot be created due to the condition of the laptop, the Customer may provide the primary account password, if required. The secondary account is intended to facilitate access to the laptop for the Services and IndiRepair shall not be liable for any issues arising from failure to provide the required access.

15.4 The Customer is advised to remove confidential or sensitive information from the laptop, where reasonably possible, before handing it over for repair.

16. DEVICES THAT CANNOT BE REPAIRED

16.1 Where IndiRepair determines that a device cannot reasonably be repaired, the Customer shall be informed and the device shall be returned. No repair charges shall be payable in such case.

16.2 Where the Customer chooses not to proceed with the Service after inspection or approval of the quotation, an inspection/service charge of ₹350 shall apply, along with any applicable pickup or delivery charges.

17. PAYMENT

17.1 Charges for the Service shall become due upon completion of the Service and shall be payable in accordance with the invoice or payment terms communicated by IndiRepair.

17.2 The Customer shall make payment within the time specified in the invoice or otherwise communicated by IndiRepair.

17.3 The Customer shall not withhold or delay payment on account of any issue unrelated to the approved Service.

18. CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS

18.1 Once a Service has been approved, cancellation may be subject to applicable service, inspection, logistics, special-order or other charges already incurred.

18.2 IndiRepair does not provide a cash refund merely because a repaired/replaced component subsequently develops a covered warranty issue. Subject to the applicable warranty and availability of the spare part, the relevant component shall ordinarily be repaired or replaced.

18.3 Any refund, credit or other adjustment, where applicable, shall be determined in accordance with the specific circumstances and these Terms.

19. UNCOLLECTED / UNDELIVERED DEVICES

19.1 IndiRepair shall retain a repaired device for up to 45 days from the date the Customer is notified that the device is ready for delivery or collection. The Customer shall ensure that the device is collected or received within this period.

19.2 If the Customer fails to collect or receive the device within this period, IndiRepair shall not be liable for any hardware, software, or other issues arising thereafter.

19.3 Where the device remains uncollected or undelivered beyond this period, IndiRepair may arrange its return to the Customer, and any applicable return logistics or other reasonable costs shall be borne by the Customer.

20. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

20.1 The Customer shall:

  • Provide accurate information regarding the device and reported issue;

  • Provide the correct laptop model and relevant technical information;

  • Disclose known physical, liquid or previous repair damage;

  • Provide accurate contact and delivery details;

  • Maintain backups of important data;

  • Provide necessary access credentials for testing where required;

  • Review and approve quotations before repair;

  • Promptly respond to requests for approval or clarification;

  • Inspect the device after delivery; and

  • Comply with these Terms.

21. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

21.1 IndiRepair shall exercise reasonable care in carrying out the Services.

21.2 Subject to applicable law, IndiRepair shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special or remote losses, including loss of business, revenue, profits, opportunity, data or other intangible losses arising from the Service.

21.3 IndiRepair shall not be liable for defects, failures or losses attributable to pre-existing conditions, unrelated components, software, viruses, malware, third-party intervention, physical/liquid damage, misuse, unauthorised modification or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

21.4 IndiRepair’s liability in relation to a particular Service shall, to the extent permitted by applicable law, be limited to the remedies expressly provided under these Terms and the applicable warranty.

21.5 Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit any liability which cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.

22. FORCE MAJEURE

22.1 IndiRepair shall not be responsible for delay or failure in performance caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, fire, flood, strikes, transportation disruption, governmental restrictions, supply shortages, vendor delays, technical failures, acts of third parties or other events beyond its reasonable control.

23. CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS AND DISPUTES

23.1 Customers are encouraged to first contact IndiRepair directly to resolve any complaint concerning a Service.

23.2 Complaints relating to the repaired/replaced component should be raised within the applicable 72-hour period or warranty period, as applicable.

23.3 IndiRepair may require the device to be inspected before determining whether a complaint is covered under these Terms or the applicable warranty.

23.4 A complaint shall not be treated as an admission of liability by IndiRepair.

24. CHANGES TO SERVICES AND TERMS

24.1 IndiRepair may modify, update or discontinue any Service, pricing, availability or operational process from time to time.

24.2 These Terms may also be updated from time to time. The version applicable to a particular Service shall be the version communicated to or accepted by the Customer at the time of availing the Service, subject to applicable law.

25. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

25.1 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

25.2 Subject to applicable consumer protection laws and other mandatory legal provisions, disputes arising in connection with these Terms or the Services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra.

26. SEVERABILITY

26.1 If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, such provision shall be severed or modified to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall continue to remain valid and enforceable.

27. ENTIRE TERMS

27.1 These Terms, together with the applicable quotation, invoice and any specific written terms communicated and accepted for a particular Service, constitute the terms governing the Service provided by IndiRepair to the Customer.

  • Third-party intervention may void the warranty; and

  • The Customer has read and accepted these Terms.
